Frequently Asked Questions

What processes need a high-pressure reactor?

Hydrogenation, high-temperature synthesis, polymerization and supercritical reactions. These require certified pressure vessels — our HP series is built to ASME/CE-PED standards.

Which material for corrosive high-pressure duty?

For aggressive media we use Hastelloy or Titanium liners over SS316L. Material selection is confirmed from your reactant properties during quotation.

How long does it take to build the GF-HP3000?

A 3000 L reactor in standard SS316L / Hastelloy / Titanium takes about 30-40 working days from deposit to dispatch, including pressure testing and polishing. Custom capacities, special alloys or additional nozzles extend the schedule by one to two weeks. The binding date is stated in the sales contract.

Can the GF-HP3000 be customised in capacity, material or heating?

Yes. Capacity, SS304/SS316L grade, jacket design and heating method (Oil circulation / steam / molten salt) are all configurable, as are agitator type, number of nozzles and insulation. We advise the right combination once we know your process medium, working temperature and batch size.

Which heating medium should I choose for the GF-HP3000?

Steam suits plants with a boiler and needs below ~150 C; thermal oil covers higher temperatures with even distribution; electric heating is the simplest option where no boiler exists; hot water is used for gentle, low-temperature processes. The GF-HP3000 supports these options – we size the jacket for the medium you pick.

What documents come with the GF-HP3000?

General arrangement and nozzle-orientation drawings, material certificates for the contact parts, weld and pressure-test reports, wiring diagrams and the operating manual. Third-party inspection can be witnessed before shipment if your project requires it.
