When do I need a brackish RO instead of standard RO?
When feed TDS is 2000–10000 ppm (deep well, groundwater, some municipal). Brackish membranes tolerate higher salt at lower pressure than seawater RO, saving energy.
Is it suitable for farm irrigation?
Yes. Many agricultural sites use BWRO to turn saline groundwater into irrigation water. Recovery and reject disposal should be designed per local conditions.
